General provisions and cancellation policy

General information
You and Fulufjällsgården agree on the terms of the room rental. Unless a special agreement has been made, the following rules apply. For conferences and group bookings, special rules also apply (see further down the page).


Booking and confirmation
An order is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking number. This can be done verbally, in writing or via a booking system. When ordering, you need to provide at least your name, telephone number, approximate time of arrival and departure.


Arrival and departure
The hostel room is at your disposal from 14:00 on the day of arrival at the latest. On the day of departure, you must leave the room by 11:00 at the latest. Conference and group participants are asked to check out before 10.00. The room is reserved for arrival until 18:00. If you arrive later, you need to notify the hostel in advance.


Cancellation and non-arrival

Single room

Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking, cancellation must be made no later than 7 days before the date of arrival. If you do not show up without cancellation or cancel later than 7 days before the day of arrival, you will have to pay for one day. If Fulufjällsgården has had special costs due to your booking, you must reimburse these.
Groups

Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking, cancellation must be made no later than two weeks before the date of arrival. If you do not show up without cancellation or cancel later than one week before the day of arrival, you will have to pay for the package. If Fulufjällsgården has incurred special costs due to your booking, you must reimburse these.
Early departure and indefinite stay
If you have booked for a fixed period of time but depart earlier, you will have to pay the same compensation as for late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you stayed at Fulufjällsgården, you will pay for an additional day.

Other cases

If the hostel cannot provide you with a room on arrival, as agreed, you have the right to an equivalent or better room at the hostel or other accommodation of at least an equivalent standard at no extra cost. If you incur additional inconvenience or costs, we will also compensate you for this.


Smoking and pets
The hostel is non-smoking and pet-free (pets are allowed in the cottages). In case of violation of the smoking ban or pet ban, the hostel has the right to charge the customer a violation fee and expenses.


Payment
Payment is normally made on arrival or departure from the hostel. We accept the most common debit and credit cards, Swish and cash.


Storage of valuables and luggage in the room
Fulufjällsgården cannot take any responsibility for the property that you store in the room or in the cabin.


Safety
Always know the location of emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers. Look for details in the information on the inside of the room door.

Data management

Personal privacy

We receive bookings in different ways - via our website, Facebook, email, phone, etc. When the guest enters or provides personal information in connection with the booking, it is an "unequivocal act of confirmation". Therefore, it is not necessary for us to explicitly request permission to process the personal data in connection with the booking. We also accept bookings from third parties such as Booking.com, Expedia, and Hotels.com. These companies own the information and we get access to as much information as we need to manage the bookings.


Regardless of how we gain access to personal information: We limit ourselves to using the data only to what is necessary. Phone numbers and emails are used to communicate with the guest, e.g. to send a booking confirmation. For billing purposes, we also need a postal address.


We will not disclose personal data to third parties. If we are asked by you to book activities with another company, we assume that you accept that we disclose as little of your personal information as possible. We will never use the guest's personal information for our own marketing without having the guest's explicit consent. The guest can always contact us to have their personal information removed from all our systems. When checking out, the guest can request that we delete the personal information saved for this particular booking. This will be done immediately.
